Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at NIET is committed to fostering a culture of continuous quality enhancement in both academic and administrative domains. The IQAC Core Committee is headed by the Director and comprises a diverse group, including Management representatives, Heads of Departments, Employers, Faculty Members, Students, Alumni, Coordinators, Senior Administrative and Academic Officers, a Nominee from the local society, and Industry Professionals. The Coordinator acts as the Member-Convener of the IQAC.
The IQAC focuses on ensuring the implementation of best practices and promoting a culture of quality improvement through activities such as:
- Facilitating institutional accreditation and affiliation processes.
- Conducting internal and external academic and administrative audits.
- Organizing quality enhancement and training programs for faculty, staff, and students.
- Promoting innovative teaching-learning practices.
- Ensuring timely submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR).
- Coordinating reports and data submission to statutory bodies and assessing agencies.
- Overseeing the effective functioning of various cells and committees.
- Recommending infrastructural improvements for campus development.
- Encouraging initiatives supporting the holistic development of students.
- Maintaining comprehensive data management and documentation systems.
The primary aim of NIET’s IQAC is the development, application, and institutionalization of quality benchmarks through strategic planning and close supervision of activities, ensuring the active involvement of all stakeholders with the support of the Management.
