Finance Club – Portfolio Management and Financial Olympiad

On 25 May 2023, School of Management organized an event ‘Finance Club Competition’ for MBA and Integrated MBA. It consists of two events: Portfolio Management and Financial Olympiad. The event began with a motivational address of Dr. Sonia Munjal- Head of the Department. Total of 58 participants have attended the program i.e. 40 participants in the Financial Olympiad and 6 teams each consisting of 3 members in Portfolio Management.

In Financial Olympiad, 35 questions were asked on Personal Finance in 30 minutes. In Portfolio Management there were two rounds. 1st round was based on creating a portfolio of 10-15 companies and the capital allocated is 10 lacs. The second round was based on a presentation on choosing the criterion of companies based on the fundamental and technical analysis of the companies. The result is declared on the maximum scores based on the increased market value and presentation.
