Outbound at International Trade Fair, Pragati Maidan

The IITF is an extraordinary opportunity to embark on a journey of learning and discovery. The fair’s vast expanse is home to a plethora of exhibits that delve into various industries, igniting young minds with curiosity and inspiring them to explore the world of business and technology. So, keeping this in mind, the department of "School of Management," NIET, Greater Noida, decided on an industrial visit for MBA I year students at International Trade Fair, Pragati Maidan (Ghaziabad, UP), on November 22, 2023.

The students visited the SEBI Pavilion where they learned about the fundamentals of the share markets. They also saw the exhibits by Steel Authority of India Limited, Goods and Services Department and Income Tax Department, among others. The fair involved participations from both Indian and international organisations located in different halls of Pragati Maidan where each country displayed their unique items and students learnt the fundamentals of marketing and promoting the business. They interacted with the business owners and sales representatives to ascertain the various commercial requirements, challenges and zest involved in the setting up and running of a successful business enterprise. In conclusion, the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves during their trip along with learning about the business principles, Indian handicrafts, traditions, states and commerce in general.
