ABOUT NIET

NIET is one of the premier Engineering and Management institutes of India's National Capital Region (NCR). NIET, a self-financed institute, offering high standard quality education to students from all corners of the country, is situated in Greater Noida (a hub of global MNCs). The institute has a sprawling area of 13.90 acres and lush green ambience all around. NIET is the first private institute in Uttar Pradesh to get Autonomous status by UGC. The Institute is Accredited by NAAC (A Grade, 3.23) and NBA (CSE, ECE, ME, IT, Biotechnology, B.Pharm, MBA and MCA), NIRF (42nd in NIET Pharmacy Institute; and 101-150 rank band of Engineering Institute). It is developing as the Center of Excellence imparting technical education and generating competent professionals with a high degree of credibility, integrity, and ethical standards. We aim at recognizing, respecting, and nurturing the creative potential of each student.

ABOUT DEPARTMENT

The School of Mechanical Engineering at NIET is continuously striving to achieve excellence in education, academics and industry oriented research & consultancy work to serve the society. The faculty members of the Department are engaged in the research in classical as well as in upcoming areas of Mechanical Engineering. The Department has active Chapters of various technical bodies such as ISHRAE, SAE, ISTE, etc. Also the Mercedez- Benz Centre of Excellence and PTC Centre of Excellence including Industry 4.0, Automation Lab, PTC Creo Lab, Robotics Lab, 3D-Printing & Reverse Engineering Lab and Smart Manufacturing lab has been recently developed in the Department. UG program of the Department is NBA Accrediated. Idea Lab has also been establishe in collaboration with AICTE and Droisys to facilitate the research and innovation work in the Department as well as the institute.

RESOURCE PERSONS

Eminent speakers have been invited from Foreign Universities, IITs, NITs, R&D centers and industries from India & abroad to share their experiences and research work in the field of Engineering.

OBJECTIVE OF THE CONFERENCE

The objective of the conference is to bring together the experts from industry and academia to exchange their innovative research and share their experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering as well as to explore the role of emerging technologies in engineering. The conference will eventually open opportunities for collaboration among industry / universities / institutions of National / International repute to foster synergic partnerships.

The original unpublished research papers as per the conference theme are invited for presentation. Full length papers with abstract of maximum 250 words and 6 keywords can be communicated through email at nisme@niet.co.in.
