The famous adage goes From the bitterness of disease man learns the sweetness of health. The ever growing concern regarding people's health needs an urgent address, and it is equivalently important to create awareness among the youth of the nation for the same. The NIET, in its own capacity, took a remarkable initiative that we can bring about a sea change if we value each drop it is composed of and bring them altogether. NIET's Green Gold Society created a roadmap to make an impactful change keeping in mind the necessity of keeping our surrounding clean and filth free. A seminar was organized by the NIET in collaboration with NEERANJALI-serving water, an NGO, in order to create general awareness about the Health Related Issues and how we can keep the wheels of our health running just fine. The Seminar was graced by the gracious presence of Executive Vice President, Mr. Raman Batra, Dr. Ajay Kumar (Director NIET), Ms. Sarika Baheti, Chairperson, Neeranjali (NGO), Mr. Varun Maniyan, Founder Social Affair (A location based discovery app Dr. N. Rajesh, Dean (Academics), Head of all Departments, faculty members and other distinguished delegates. Sri Raman Batra spoke on the importance of the World Health day and told how to keep stay healthy to live long. Ms. Sarika, our chief guest, spoke at a length on the Inner Engineering of Humans, the elements we are composed of, the methodologies and practices that can keep us physically, mentally, socially and spiritually healthy. Her enlightening address was followed by Mr. Varun Maniyan who delivered talk on to maintain pollution free environment to stay healthy. The Cleanliness Drive followed the seminar in which approximately 170 students participated and cleaned in and around the campus area and the vicinity of college enthusiastically. EVP, Director, Dean's, HoD's, faculty members and Students marched with brooms and dustbins to collect non-biodegradable waste and disposed them in eco-friendly way. The zest and zeal of the volunteers and everyone was remarkable and the event met a success. At the end of the event Vote of Thanks was presented by coordinator of the event Prof.
